  5. The SIS Sales Rental Software system contains seven sub-modules to automate
  6. invoicing of sales/rental businesses. The inventory module is designed to
  7. handle both sales and rental inventory and connects with purchase orders, the
  8. rental database and sales and rental invoice processing. The purchase order
  9. module generates purchase orders to suppliers and facilitates entry to
  10. inventory. Besides a mailing and billing address, the accounts database stores
  11. sales and credit information. the receivables module contains an open item
  12. accounts receivable system. Variable sales tax tables allow for multiple taxing
  13. districts and exempt sales. Late charges can be automatically assessed
  14.  
  15. The rental processing module contains a sophisticated lease database that
  16. tracks all items out on a lease, all returns, and all invoices against the
  17. lease. A daily report logs all new rental business. Reports can also project
  18. future rental income. Two types of invoices are generated. The first is a
  19. product sales invoice for items sold. The second is a rental invoice that is
  20. generated automatically on the correct billing date for leased items
  21. outstanding. Commission reports are generated monthly.
